There's finally some relief in the forecast.
"We do see a trend. Winds shifting around to come more from the southwest over the coming days. A seasonal high of -8 expected for Tuesday, then a real shot of somewhat milder air comes in on Wednesday with a high of -1," says Geoff Coulson of Environment Canada.
Coulson adds there may flurries with the new system, but he wasn't able to say how much is coming. Then, he notes, there will be a return to more seasonal temperatures in the double-digits for the long-weekend.
