It's coming down to the wire for staff and students at Confederation College.
According to the union, they filed their final offer last night. It included an increase in full-time faculty, more job security for part-time faculty, along with more academic freedom.
The College Employer Council says unionized staff are asking for too much. With a strike looming, the council says wage increases, staffing ratios and workload reductions in the union's demands could add up to more than $1 billion dollars.
The union says they tabled their final offer last night. If no agreement is reached, campuses may be open, but classes and continuing education will be cancelled tomorrow.
