The Sioux Lookout area is without power as Sioux lookout Hydro says that there is an issue with the main line between Sioux Lookout and Dryden.

A helicopter crew is currently investigating the issue, and it is unknown what caused it.

Due to the power outage, the Keewatin Patricia District School Board is advising families of an early dismissal at Queen Elizabeth High School and Sioux Mountain Public School. Buses will arrive at the schools at approximately 11:00 A.M. to take bus students home.

Families of students who do not take a bus are asked to pick up their children at or before 11:00 A.M. today.
