A 23-year-old driver -- who failed to stop for police yesterday -- is facing a series of charges. Daniel Graham Lang, of no fixed address, was apprehended near Little Joe Lake just after 5 p.m. yesterday evening.

Around 3:30 p.m., officers on patrol the vehicle had a smashed windshield and front end damage. It took officers about 90 minutes to contain the vehicle and make the arrest.

The suspect is now facing charges of:

  • Flight while pursued by peace office Sec. 249.1(1) of the Criminal Code
  • Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle Sec. 249(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
  • Driving while disqualified Sec. 259 (4) Of the Criminal Code

The investigation is continuing.
