It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas, and you're invited to visit with Santa next week for the tree lighting in Kenora.

He'll be collecting a tin for the bin, as well as toys for those in need at Christmas. Treaty Three Police Service will provide a ceremonial security detail, with indigenous drumming to accompany Father Christmas.

The event is set to begin next Friday, Nov. 17, at 5 o'clock. The Kinsmen parade follows on Saturday, Nov. 25, and this year's theme is A Lake of the Woods Christmas.
