Two fires were set at Dryden’s Milestone Rink.

The Dryden Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in helping to locate those responsible for setting fire to both bathrooms at the rink building on Tuesday night. The DPS notes that vandalism and damage to the rink has been an ongoing issue. In 2017 alone, the facility sustained between $22,000 and $26,000 in damage. The estimated cost of Tuesday night’s fire is $500.

The DPS is asking the public to report any damage to the facility right away. If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact the Dryden Police Service at 1-807-223-1137.

Police also report that a vehicle parked at Golden Mile Plaza around February 5 sustained extensive vandalism, including flattened tires and a smashed windshield. If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact the Dryden Police Service at 1-807-223-1137 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
