A Dryden resident is in custody following death threat and weapons offences.
On January 10, members of the Dryden Police Service responded to a call near 7-11 after a report of a 25-year-old male threatening three people inside a truck with a knife.
During the incident, the accused engaged in yelling and screaming at the three victims – uttering death threats at them. The accused left the area for a short time, but then returned displaying a knife toward the victims and continued to utter death threats at them. The victims quickly left the area and called police.
Dryden Police arrested 25-year-old Dryden resident Johnathon Patrie. He was taken into custody and charged with uttering death threats and assault with a weapon. Patrie is set to appear in Sioux Lookout court today.
