Vicky Donath is asking the city to support the community's beekeeping club, as they ask for a $10,000 seed grant from the Trillium Foundation. The city is sometimes asked to lend its charitable status to groups, when they apply for grants. There's been a lot of concern recently about the future of honey bees, as well as pollinators, adding a conservationist angle to the project.
