Kenora's Jeff Gustafson is headed home after a month-long fishing trip with a few more dollars.

The pro bass angler's recent success comes as he finished in the top 10 in the Fishing League Worldwide tour. He placed 7th in the last tournament of the tour on Lake Lanier in Georgia with 20 bass weighing in at 62lbs. 3oz. earning him $17,000.00.

He started the first day of the four-day tournament strong, catching his limit of five fish weighing in at 17lbs 12oz. The next three days followed as he continued his limit pattern adding 15.

Gustafson is coming off a second-place finish at the Costa FLW Series Southeastern Division event on Lake Seminole earning himself $30,000.00.

Bradley Hallman of Norman, OK. came atop the tournament with 20 bass with a combined weight of 68lbs. 4 oz and took home $100,000.00.

There were seven tournaments in the series with 185 anglers participating.
