Michael Wabonge of Migisi Sahgaigan, also known as Eagle Lake First Nation near Dryden, has come home with $119,170 after winning a Lotto 6/49 second prize draw.

OLG had advised that May 17’s winning ticket went unclaimed after being purchased in the Kenora – Rainy River district, and a search for the winner was underway.

The winning ticket ended up being purchased at the Lotto One on Government Street in Dryden.

This is the fifth major win for northwestern Ontario this year.
