Grade 7 students from St. Joe's had fun out in the sunshine yesterday at Blue Lake. The class went on a field trip to the provincial park.

Kiya Fenwick explains what she was looking forward to.

"Probably playing with my friends at the park," she said.

Brody McMurrich says it was perfect weather.

"Nice lake, not a lot of wind. Clear sky and it's nice and sunny," he said.

Classmate Rachel Hart explains what she was enjoying during the fieldtrip.

"I like hanging out with my friends and learning stuff with the Blue Lake people," she said.

Blue Lake is known for it's crystal clear water and long sandy beach. It also has a a 25 metre high rock face that is great for climbers. It's located just northeast of Vermilion Bay.
