Several area residents have reported symptoms consistent with foodborne illness, commonly called food poisoning, following Rhythm on the Range in Dryden over the weekend.

The Northwestern Health Unit says at least 10 people have reported symptoms consistent with food poisoning and says the investigation is ongoing but suspects that the illness is associated with macaroni and cheese sold by a food vendor without a permit.

The health unit is asking anyone that attended the festival and developed symptoms within 12 of eating at the event to reach out to their local health unit office.
