Sam Bush died by suicide in 2019 and every year, his mom Tammy Bush, their family and members of the community keep Sam’s legacy alive.

March 30 would have been Sam’s 24th birthday and the goal is to share random acts of kindness.

When you have completed a random act of kindness, you are encouraged to share it on the Facebook page: Sam’s Birthday Gift: Random Acts of Kindness.

A random act of kindness can be anything from opening a door for someone, to buying lunch for a complete stranger. No act of kindness is too small.

Watch the Facebook page for live updates and if you share a random act of kindness, you may receive a special gift donated by a local business, on Sam’s birthday. Businesses are encouraged to contribute to this initiative by contacting Tammy Bush.

Prizes this year are being provided by Little Spruce Design, Lake Lids, Bob’s Burgers, Boardanyone, Log Cabin Tavern, Sweet – Lake of the Woods, 5th Avenue Artisanal Soaps, The Narrows Gift Shop, Charlotte Brown’s Gel Nails and RE/MAX NorthWest Realty.
