The Retired Teachers of Ontario have provided funding for 31 community projects across the province.

The annual Community Grants program has distributed $79,885.00 across the province to support the lives of their members and seniors.

Kenora received $2,500.00 for the Borrowing Cupboard which provides mobility aids and home health equipment at no cost. In Dryden, the Go Getters received $2,500.00 for the Dryden Senior Activity Centre.

Since the inception of the granting program, the Retired Teachers of Ontario have donated $1.85 million to 525 programs and projects in the province.

With more than 82,000 members in 51 districts across Canada, they are the largest national provider of non-profit group health benefits for education retirees.
