First Nation leaders are waiting for the follow-up, after an apology in the legislature earlier this year.Ontario Regional Chief Isadore Day says there's a key element missing. After listening to yesterday's Throne Speech at Queen's Park, Day said the province wasn't keeping their promise.

"There's a lot of work to be done on resource revenue sharing," he said. "It troubles me that there was no mention of some of these key commitments."

While he noted the provincial government acknowledged the importance of reconciliation earlier this year during a special ceremony. The regional chief says he's still waiting for movement on issues that are important to First Nations.

"We've got expectations and the provincial government is going to need to do things quite differently," he added.
