Residents can look forward to another great season of the Matiowski Farmers' Market this summer.

The market returns Wednesday, June 16 under the Whitecap Pavilion and residents will be able to shop from their favourite vendors and will see a few new ones this year. Market Coordinator, Helena Devins says they are taking every precaution towards the safety of customers and vendors.

"The market is a bit different as we are running off of last year's model. With the COVID-19 guidelines in place from the Northwestern Health Unit and Farmers Market Ontario, masks are mandatory and we will have hand sanitizer at the door. We also ask all visitors and vendors to do self screening before attending the market," she says.

Devins adds there will be one entrance and one exit and asks customers to follow the flow and signage while practicing social distancing throughout the market.
Market staff will be monitoring and enforcing limits to how many people can enter the market and spacing is setup throughout the tent allows for customers to move between vendors spaces and physical distancing spaces as they navigate the market.

The Matiowski Farmers' Market runs weekly from June 16 to September 29, 2021 under the Whitecap Pavilion from 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
