The 99th annual Kenora Kinsmen Santa Claus parade was a welcome return this year, to officially begin the holiday season.
“It was fantastic” according to organizer Chad Gropp. “There were a lot of floats, a lot of participants and it was so nice to see all of the families out to enjoy the parade.”
The parade kicked off at precisely 5:30pm from the Kenora Curling Club and 26 entries wound their way through downtown, on a cool and windy Saturday evening.
Chad Gropp says he’s looking most forward to next year, when the Kinsmen celebrate the centennial year of the Santa Claus parade.
