Tourism Kenora is gearing up for a Canada Day, which will feature a number of family-friendly activities throughout the day.
On Friday, July 1, the community is invited to the Harbourfront to celebrate our nation's birthday:
Daytime under the Whitecap Pavilion
Her Majesty the Queen's Jubilee Display from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Harbourtown Biz Family Zone from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- face painting kids' crafts
- games
- photo booth
- appearances from Paw Patrol's Chase, Scooby-Doo and a Minion
Specialty Farmers' Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mago the Magician and Balloon Specialist Show from 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Bike decorating event at 11:15 a.m.
Kenora Scottish Pipe and Drum Band accompanied by St. Andrew's at 11:15 a.m.
Protocol ceremonies at 12 p.m.
FREE cake and root beer floats at 12:30 p.m. while supplies last
Strawberry Social at the Mather Walls House in Keewatin from 2 to 4 p.m.

Kenora Concert Series presents:
Residents will be able to join in a massive choir led by Suzanne McIntosh at 7 p.m.
Live performance from Turning Point at 9 p.m.
