Duane Jeffrey Mandamin, a resident of Whitefish Bay First Nation passed away suddenly on Friday, May 26, 2023 at his residence.

He was predeceased by his father Douglas Mandamin, mother Cecilia Kelly, his biological father Kenny Redsky, his children Matthew and Sonya Cowley as well as many other relatives too numerous to mention.

He is survived by his partner Merritt Cowley, his siblings Frederick Kelly, Glenda Kelly and Aaron Kelly, his children Melissa and Shauna Cowley, his nieces Andrea, Larissa, Brianne, Cinnamon Nash, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, watching movies, he had an infectious laugh, and was always able to joke around with all those who knew him.

He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

A wake service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 beginning at 12:00pm at the Peshigoneb Cultural Centre. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:00am at the Peshigoneb Cultural Centre with burial to follow in Whitefish Bay First Nation.
