Cold Weather Decreases OPP Calls For Service

Colder weather over the weekend meant fewer calls for service for the Kenora OPP.

There were 155 calls made from Friday afternoon until Monday morning.

There were six RIDE Check stops, one weapon charge, three traffic complaints and three thefts.

In addition, officers responded to two assaults, two drug offences and four domestic disputes.

There were also 11 charges laid under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act.

Here is the break-down of calls for service this past weekend:
