Alisabeth (Liz) Marie Paddison
November 24, 1977 - April 4, 2023
It’s with the heaviest of hearts that I announce the sudden passing of Alisabeth. She passed away suddenly and painlessly from a brain aneurysm in her own home after finishing her shift at work.
Predeceased by her Grandparents, Carol and Gary Gressman (Gramma “G” and Papa), father Ken Paddison and Uncles Gary Gressman, Jeffrey Gressman, Robert Holliday and Aunt Melo Carlson.
Survived by her Mom Rebecca Green, Step-Dad Steve Green, brothers Kyle and Jonathan (Jennifer), niece Makena Raine, Gramma “P” Emily Paddison and numerous friends and family.
In 1998, Liz graduated from Dakota Collegiate in Winnipeg. Liz had moved to Kenora in 2018 with encouragement from her Mom and lived independently in her own apartment. Diagnosed with “Special Needs” her needs were anything but special. Show her your acceptance and she returned it in spades. Her unique throaty laugh would let everyone know she got the joke. She always had a place in her heart for all animals and her best friend Tanya. Liz loved her plants, Special Olympics bowling with friends, she was a huge Winnipeg Jets and Blue Bombers fan. Liz also enjoyed doing her puzzles and always had one on the go.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Fall, to be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kenora Special Olympics, The Cat Shelter or It’s A Dogs Life Kenora. Special thank you to Cory at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre for his patience and guidance.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.brownfuneralhomekenora.com for the Paddison family.
