9th Year For Coldest Night Of The Year

By Staff Jan 31, 2023 | 9:21 AM

Plans are in the works for the Coldest Night of the Year Fundraiser.

Any money raised will go to help the Fellowship Center and Jubilee Church.

Frank Kowal is the pastor at Jubilee and despite COVID restrictions, last year’s walk was a huge success.

“It was very good last year and it was just amazing…I think we raised $37,000 last year, which was the most we’ve ever made and was very unexpected,” says Kowal.

Kowal adds this is a national event, but you can look up the Kenora walk on their website.

“Once you get to the location (website) then you have options whether you want to register a team, or make a donation, or volunteer.  There are different things you can do to help or support it.”

This year’s walk will take place on February 25th from the Fellowship Center.

The goal is to raise $38,000.
