Wilson murder case continues

kenora - courthouse winter

Defendants in the Ed Wilson murder case have had their case put over until Feb. 9. That's when they'll got through some more pre-trial hearings at the Kenora court house. Wilson was killed in Norman in the spring of 2009.

David Gibson and Danny Gunn have been representing the defendants, while Crown Attorney Mary Anne Mousseau has been representing the Crown.

A pair of local suspects were charged with second degree murder in connection with the case. Ken Ivall, 42, and Angela Duchesne, 26, are set to answer the charges. According to Canadian law, they're presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. The suspects remain in custody, pending the outcome of their legal proceedings. No date has yet been set for the trial.
